Before entering academia, I worked as a political and investigative reporter for some of Brazil’s most prestigious newspapers and magazines. My journalism has been recognized with awards both in Brazil and across Latin America. I am also a co-founder of JOTA, which was named the world’s best digital news startup at the 2019 World Digital Media Awards. I am frequently invited to comment on political affairs on Brazilian and international television networks.
